“it’s a princess!”
I had the privilege this morning to take my first quinceanera portraits! I was blown away when she stepped out of the car-she looked gorgeous from head to toe! The whole family is gorgeous too! I’ve decided to split their posts in two because they were so photogenic! Today’s post is their formal wear. One of my favorite moments of the morning was when some little girls spotted a “princess” in the park and their mom asked if they could get their picture with her! Too cute!

I took my first maternity pictures this afternoon on a beautiful summer winter day in February! This is my friend who is about to have her first GIRL next month! She let me have creative control, and I brought finger paints for the boys! They had a blast “painting sister.”

This was my second time to take photos for this family! You may remember their darling oldest in these photos. This time, her adorable little sister was celebrating her first birthday and all the family was over to celebrate the holidays!

Christmas gatherings
I had my second photo shoot with this sweet family (who are also my mom’s neighbors!) yesterday. Their whole extended family (both sides!) gathered together to celebrate Christmas. When you have 29 family members in one place at one time, you must take photos! I think I took every mathematical combination of people together too! It was a special treat to capture this precious family time!

It’s not everyday where you get to take pictures of a New Yorker and a Abu Dhabian together…in Texas! Nothing like the holidays to bring family together! These cousins were just too cute! I got to take pictures of them at their sweet Nana’s house.

What can I say about this family? They win the award for giving me the most business this year! 🙂 This is the 4th photo shoot I’ve done for them since May! Mama has helped build my business (to put it mildly!) Lots of love to them from me!

my second family
My college roommate, my neighbor, my best friend. Seriously people, we go grocery shopping together in one car! We live. life. together. Our children and husbands are best friends.
I am privileged to be able to bless my “second family” with my passion! I begged her to let me take family photos of them (she only wanted her kids in the pics)! They hadn’t had family photos since their daughter was a baby, and I wanted to be the one to give them some precious new ones. Yes, I’m selfish that way. 🙂

Christmas spirit!
Today, I got to take pictures of the smartest boy (and his family) in my daughter’s class! 🙂 Little brother had the sweetest expressions for me this afternoon! We went to the Intercontinental hotel in downtown Austin to enjoy some Christmas decorations in their beautiful lobby!
